The Power of Gathering
There’s something ancient and sacred about gathering in a circle.
It’s a space where we can shed our armor, share our stories, and be seen — fully, vulnerably, and without judgment.
In a world that often celebrates independence and busyness, gathering in community is a radical act of healing.
It reminds us that we were never meant to walk this path alone.
My First Women’s Circle: A Leap of Faith
I still remember the very first women’s circle I ever hosted.
I had just separated from my husband, and I was shattered. Lost. Raw.
I knew I needed the support of other women — to be surrounded by the strength, wisdom, and softness of sisterhood.
I shared this with my roommate at the time, and together we decided: Let’s host a women’s circle.
We invited a few friends, set up the space… and then, the unexpected happened.
As women began arriving, my roommate wasn’t there.
She got stuck at work.
Suddenly, I realized: It’s just me. I have to hold this.
Pushed straight into the deep end, I had no choice but to lead.
No fancy plan. No polished speech.
Just my heart — raw and wide open.
And something beautiful happened.
The women responded to my vulnerability with their own.
We cried, we laughed, we witnessed each other.
In that circle, a space of pure authenticity was born — and it changed my life.
From that night on, I continued the tradition, even welcoming men into the circles at times.
It taught me that true community doesn’t require perfection — it requires presence.
Why Circles Heal
Circles create sacred space — a container where healing naturally happens.
When we gather with intention:
We remember we’re not alone.
Hearing others share their struggles and dreams reminds us that our own journey is deeply human.
We amplify each other’s growth.
Energy, insight, and healing ripple through the group, lifting everyone higher.
We practice being seen.
In a circle, you’re invited to show up fully — no masks, no pretenses.
We co-create transformation.
Each voice, each presence adds something essential to the shared experience.
A New Beginning: My First Women’s Retreat in Washington
Last weekend, I hosted my first women’s retreat since moving to Washington — alongside my dear friends Robyn and Jodi.
And once again, magic unfolded.
We began with hyperthermia treatments (hot tub, IR sauna, and full-spectrum light bed), easing into relaxation and self-care.
Robyn shared an incredible Energy Transmutation technique, teaching us how to shift stagnant energy into vitality.
I led a deeply restorative Yin yoga session while Robyn offered massage and Jodi filled the space with the healing vibrations of sound bowls.
We prepared a nourishing AIP-friendly lunch together — a meal made with love and intention.
And to close, we held a salt ceremony to seal our intentions, letting go of what no longer served us and calling in what we most desired.
As we stood together under the open sky, an eagle soared overhead.
A sacred sign.
A reminder that when we gather in light and truth, Spirit meets us there.

Final Thoughts: Together, We Rise
Gathering in community circles isn’t just an event — it’s a return to an ancient way of healing.
It’s a reminder that vulnerability is strength. That growth is amplified when we rise together.
That magic happens when we dare to show up, exactly as we are.
Whether through a retreat, a mindful morning practice, or a single heartfelt conversation — never underestimate the power of gathering in light.
You were never meant to do this alone.
Come as you are. Leave radiant.
